Didn't your company used to be called Blue Ridge Wedding Films?

Yes. We have decided to branch out and add corporate and event videography to our portfolio. We decided a name change was due to be more neutral to the videography business as a whole. NOTHING has changed in the way we produce wedding films, we are just opening more horizons for our company

Do you offer High Definition packages?

YES !!! We film in 1080i high definition and deliver them on Blu-Ray Discs.

What type of camcorders do you use?

We use professional grade Canon XH-A1s, 1080i High Definition camcorders

Will you attend the rehearsal?

We try our best to attend.  This familiarizes us with your ceremony intentions and your wedding party.  Attending also allows us to select the best camera placement and angles. If we cant, we will arrive the day of early enough to do so.

Will you have an assistant helping you?

Yes.  My wife and partner Rhonda assists on all weddings.

Will you be professional in your appearance?

Yes.  Our objective is to keep a low profile.  Dark dress slacks and shirts are our standard attire.

Do you use lighting?

Our camcorders are excellent in low light conditions so we never use extra lighting during the ceremony.  Sometimes extra lighting is needed during the reception.

Do you interview guests at the reception?

Unless  requested in advance, interviews will not be done.

How soon can we expect to receive our wedding film?

Normally 6-8 weeks, but it depends on the post-production schedule we have at the time of your wedding.  Although we strive to deliver your finished wedding film in a timely manner we will not sacrifice quality for speed.  Our attention to detail will make it worth your wait.

Can we select the music to be in our wedding film?

Absolutely.  We want your wedding film to paint a portrait of who you are as a couple.  Choosing your musical score makes your film even more representative.

What are your payment terms?

We ask that 1/3 be submitted with your signed contract, to reserve your date.  The balance is due the day of your rehearsal.

Do you offer photography?

No, but please check our links page for a list of our favorite photographers
